This banner was custom designed for St. Mary's
Episcopal Church in
Andalusia, Alabama. The cross, wheat
and vine are made of
of metallic gold fabrics in various shades and textures . The grapes
and
leaves are of hand painted silk.
All elements of the design were
made first as hand corded
appliqués, then mounted
to a dark blue
velvet background.
